Spicy Mexican Cocoa


Sweet. Crunchy. Spicy.

Come visit the slow burn. Inspired by champurrado (a Mexican beverage similar to hot-cocoa), this cruncy-sweet-salty treat has been lightly dusted with spices, heat, and cocoa powder. This is an exercise in balanced flavors.

Pinkleton’s is growing… our bags now weigh half a pound!

Starting with local and organic butter, I melt it down with plenty of cane sugar and dust it while hot with fair-trade  cocoa powder, organic cayenne, cinnamon, Oregon sea salt…

This burn builds as you nibble on it, so I suggest that you have a nice tall beverage to cool it with. Cerveza or iced tea work nicely… as does coffee.  Delicious any time of year.

As with all our products, we must warn you, Pinkleton’s is highly addictive, and you may find yourself hoarding it… we suggest you keep enough around to share.
